Helen Titilayo Kolawole

Minister - Canada

Rev. Helen Titilayo Kolawole was born in Uso, a small village near Owo, Nigeria. She migrated to Saskatchewan, Canada in 1982 where she had 2 of her 4 children. In 1987 she returned back to her home country of Nigeria to raise her kids as it was important to her that her children knew where they came from. This proved to be one of the most trying times in her life, as she was in search of answers to some of the dreams she was having. She confided in a friend who brought her to a Church where she was able to realize the missing puzzle in her life: Jesus Christ. It was through the church she had a close and personal encounter with Jesus and her life was never the same.

Rev. Kolawole has resided in Ontario, Canada for over the last 20 years and it was through the encouragement of her son Pastor Niran Kolawole that she decided to attend bible college. Rev. Kolawole graduated from Pentecostal Church of God in 2019. She’s been an active member of World Soul Winning Evangelistic Ministry (WOSEM) since the year 2000. After the dissolution of the Toronto branch, she received a call from God to start a branch in the city of Brampton which was named House of Glory WOSEM Canada.

The mission of her church is to raise and build people of influence through the word of God. Aside from her Christian work; she is a resilient woman who took on the challenge of changing her career in her 50’s and became an early childhood educator proving to herself that age is nothing but a number.

Outside of ministry and work, Rev. Kolawole enjoys spending time in the word of God, fitness and exercise. She enjoys celebrating milestones with her family and friends. Rev. Kolawole has 2 daughters and 2 sons, one of which is the Pastor of Lighthouse WOSEM in Connecticut. She also has 10 beautiful grandchildren that she enjoys spending quality time with.
